MahaDBT Farmer Login – Now with Farmer ID and OTP
The MahaDBT Farmer login has changed. Individual farmers no longer login with an old username and password — from 2025–26, the login is done with your Farmer ID and an OTP sent to the mobile number registered with that Farmer ID. MahaDBT Farmer Login – Step by Step
- Open the official portal: mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in/Farmer
- Look for the Applicant Login section and select Individual Farmer.
- Enter your Farmer ID in the box provided.
- Click Send OTP. An OTP is sent to the mobile number registered with your Farmer ID.
- Type the OTP in the OTP box and click Verify.
- Your MahaDBT Farmer dashboard opens. From here you can update your profile, apply for components, view component history and check reports.
Farmer groups that were registered on the portal before 31 March 2025 should choose the “Existing Farmer Group” option and login with their existing username and password, as guided on the portal.
How to Apply for a Scheme After Login
- In your dashboard, open the apply section and choose the scheme and component you want — for example a drip irrigation set under PMKSY Per Drop More Crop, or a rotavator under farm mechanization.
- Confirm your land / survey number for the component.
- Upload the documents the component asks for, such as the dealer quotation for machinery.
- Submit the application and note the application details shown on screen.
- You will receive SMS updates on your registered mobile number as the application moves.
Because selection is First Come, First Served from 2025–26, apply as early as possible after a scheme window opens, and double-check documents before submitting — a wrong document can send the application back during scrutiny.
How to Check MahaDBT Farmer Application Status
- Login with your Farmer ID and OTP as explained above.
- Open the Component History / My Applications section in your dashboard.
- Select your application to see its current stage.
The usual stages are: application submitted, under scrutiny at taluka / district level, approved, and finally benefit released — after which the subsidy amount is credited to your Aadhaar-linked bank account by DBT. If the status shows the application returned with a remark, read the remark carefully, correct that one document or detail, and resubmit from the same login. Never create a duplicate application for the same component.
MahaDBT Farmer Login Problems – Quick Fixes
OTP not received. The OTP goes only to the mobile number registered with your Farmer ID. Check network signal, wait a few minutes and retry. If you changed your number, update it in the Farmer Registry (AgriStack) first.
Farmer ID not recognised. Make sure you are entering the correct Farmer ID and that your Farmer ID registration is complete. New Farmer IDs can take some time to reflect.
Land or crop details missing after login. These details are fetched from AgriStack / land records. Correct them at the source — the Farmer Registry or revenue records — and then login again.
Login page not opening. Use the exact official address mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in and avoid peak hours on the first day of a scheme window. The portal also shows maintenance notices when applicable.
Forgot how to proceed as a farmer group. Groups registered before 31 March 2025 use the Existing Farmer Group login with username and password; new groups follow the farmer group registration option shown on the portal.
